Devisor
This Chekhov Shorts Project is an investigation into the practice of adapting a short story into a piece of theatre using scenography as a key lens through which to filter the work. The adaptation places emphasis on the relationship between performer, space and design. The experiment is to see how scenography can play a key role in conceptually shaping adaptation and serve as a dramaturgical tool. Adapted by Sina Gilani and directed by Mumbi Tindyebwa Otu, Soulpepper, 2017.
